'Folk Capital of America', a city built on the shores of Lake Titicaca is a lake port showing landscapes of unique beauty. In its mountains and plains villagers are engaged to raise llamas and alpacas, thereby the creation of handicrafts and fine fabrics in alpaca wool.

CHUCUITO

Chucuito is a small town, situated at 18 Kms from Punoal edge the road leading to Desaguadero and La Paz, Bolivia.

The church of La Asunción, made up with columns and arches, is considered by some researchers as one of the most beautiful in the region, and a remarkable example of Renaissance architecture during peruvian viceroyalty.

The building known as Inca Uyo, a rectangular building with stone walls. Upon the arrival of the Spaniards was partially buried in construction, it was allowed the access to the top of the wall of stones that were carved, a few meters from the building is an important group of rocks in already carved.
